4.5 Results and Evaluation
Results and evaluation of the teaching/learning process will be treated together here. By results are meant both the nature and success of the curriculum or course and the learning outcomes of individual students in the program. We begin this section by looking at course results and classroom assessment, that is, at what kind of course best promotes intentional learning and at how such courses may be evaluated. Then we consider student outcomes and the testing and grading practices by which they are evaluated. These practices both measure and affect the learning experience. |
