Chapter 5 - Changing Accounting Education
Will the current impetus for change really make a difference in accounting education? Ultimately, that question will be answered on a daily basis by the behavior and attitudes of thousands of accounting faculty and students in classrooms around the country. Introducing a focus on the learning process can be an essential ingredient in the answer. Developing intentional learners who consciously employ the attributes of questioning, organizing, connecting, reflecting, and adapting in any new learning or working situation will make accounting a profession of lifelong learners as well as effective practitioners. |
