Description/Objectives:
This workshop is
designed to help participants understand the rationale behind
using cases in teaching accounting, to familiarize them with
the techniques of case method teaching and to discuss how best
to integrate cases with lectures.
Format/Structure:
We will start the
workshop with a case discussion to demonstrate case method
teaching, and then we will use a formal presentation to debrief.
Intended
Audience:
Professors who teach
financial accounting, financial statement analysis and
auditing.
