emerging technologies and their use in B2B commerce
Content
I will provide materials aimed at facilitating discussion of B2B technology and
processes. This will include a focus on models, reengineered processes, and
technology. In particular, I will address emerging technology and how companies
are reengineering their processes to exploit these technologies. The workshop
will include an investigation of the role of enterprise resource planning
systems, supply chain management, and customer relationship management.
Plan
I will use lecture and discussion to address the key issues in
business-to-business e-business. This will include a focus on models used to
study and understand business-to-business e-business, and an analysis of
underlying technology and processes used to facilitate e-business.
Format/Structure:
Lecture and discussion.
Intended Audience:
Attendees are likely to be those interested in teaching a course or a module of
a course that includes e-Business, with a focus on business to business.
