Description/Objectives:
The purpose of the symposium is to explore new frontiers
of ethics research in an accounting context. The symposium
will provide an opportunity for researchers and practitioners
interested in ethics in an accounting setting to discuss
recent research, exchange information, to network,
and to discuss emerging issues encountered in practice.
Research, case, and educational paper submissions,
welcome from all members, were due March 1 to Richard
Bernardi rab@alpha.rwu.edu.
A prize will be awarded for best paper. Both presentation
and forum sessions will be included in the program.
All faculty and doctoral students are invited to attend,
with a waiver of enrollment fees for doctoral students.
Doctoral students are invited to attend with registration
covered by the Professionalism and Ethics Committee.
Doctoral students should indicate student status when
registering for CPE Session 3.
Format/Structure:
Several forum and paper sessions will be included
in the workshop. The Accounting Exemplar Award Luncheon,
on Wednesday, August 14, is included in your registration
for CPE Session 3. Additional tickets can also be
purchased for the luncheon event using the Annual
Meeting registration form.
