Exhibitor Opportunities

The American Accounting Association invites you to exhibit at its 2002 Annual Meeting. We now offer new sponsorship and advertising opportunities to enhance the impact of your exhibits.

The AAA Annual Meeting attracts substantial attendance, most of them accounting, tax, business, and information systems professors and department chairs. More than 3,000 people attend the Annual Meeting each August. A booth at this meeting gives you a unique opportunity to showcase your products or services for these opinion leaders in accounting and business education worldwide. We view the exhibits as an integral part of our meeting and so schedule activities in the exhibit area to encourage attendees to make use of multiple opportunities to become familiar with your company and products.

Exhibit Opportunities at AAA Annual Meeting
The 2002 Annual Meeting will be held August 14–17 in San Antonio, Texas. Exhibit details and pricing information can be found on the Annual Meeting Exhibit Application. We endeavor to assign booth space in the order that paid reservations are received. Exhibit space will be limited in San Antonio, so fewer multi-booth islands can be accepted. After signing up for exhibit space at our meetings you will receive exhibit setup and hotel information, approximately 60 days before the meeting.

Advertising Opportunities
The AAA will accept advertising for the 2002 Annual Meeting Program. The program offers a limited number of full-page ads, with a 5" x 8" print area. Advertising-space reservations in the Annual Meeting Program are on a first-come basis. Payment must be submitted with your ad application. Please be sure advertising copy is received by May 31, 2002.

Advertising rates including rates for multiple non-facing pages in the 2002 Annual Meeting Program are included on the Advertising Contract.

This year, we are also offering two-page spreads at the centerfold and on the inside back cover with facing page. For an appropriate message in red and blue ink, an outside back cover ad might also be accepted. Special rates apply for these premium placements.

Sponsorship Opportunities
Because many exhibitors have sought ways to highlight their participation and support, the accomplishments of their authors, or other themes, the AAA is now offering event sponsorship opportunities at the Annual Meeting. In addition to signs at the event highlighting the sponsoring donor and theme, sponsorship will generate prominent recognition in the printed Program, formal thanks delivered at one or more major conference sessions and in subsequent Annual Meeting articles, and a framed acknowledgement following the meeting. Please let us know if you are interested in sponsoring any of the following events, all of which occur in the exhibition hall:

• Early Bird Reception - Wednesday, August 14, 2002 — $15,000
• Coffee break (such as coffee & lemonade) — $3,500
• Enhanced coffee break (such as coffee, lemonade, snack) — $5,000
