Description: This session will address those factors that have impeded progress in integration of technology in accounting curriculum over the last decade. Only by identification of these impediments can these impediments be overcome. The session will share best practice and lessons learned from past failures … and share new market analysis. New opportunities to inexpensively incorporate technology will be outlined: how to reduce software and hardware costs, how to drastically cut faculty training financial and personal costs, and how to participate in new synergistic, collective efforts will be presented.
