Abstract: The objective of the FDI panel discussion is to provide information on how accounting departments and business schools could create and develop an on campus event that provides students the opportunity to showcase their business, analytical, and communication skills in solving real world dilemmas in accounting, auditing, ethics, auditing, and information technology. The event can also be used as a vehicle to engage practitioners in a greater involvement with the students and faculty as it creates an atmosphere and opportunities to interact and network with business and industry professionals, practitioners, government officials and college administrators.
