A Framework for Teaching and Researching Recent Scandals and Reforms
Description/Objectives:
Consistent with established concepts from information economics, the framework presented in this session illustrates the interplay among a broad array of factors that influence accounting decisions requiring judgment. Participants will use this framework to discuss ways to teach and research concepts that are central to the recent scandals and reforms.
This is a repeat presentation that G. Peter Wilson will give at the AAA Doctoral Consortium earlier in the summer.
