Linking Practice with What We Do in the Classroom

Description/Objectives:
This session is designed to link current practice with what we teach in the classroom. Speakers will include representatives from the GASB, AGA, and one or more Federal agencies (to include, but not limited to, OMB, GAO, and FASAB). We also plan to have a speaker from Grant Thornton, a firm that is very active in governmental auditing. Finally, we will allow time for representatives from AGA to talk about some exciting new possibilities in the research area.
