Building a Multimedia-Enhanced Accounting Course on Course Management Systems (Moodle, Angel, WebCT Vista Edition)

Description/Objectives:
The objective of this workshop will be to illustrate the creation of SCORM (Sharable Courseware Object Reference Model) compliant accounting courseware modules delivered via WebCT Vista Edition.

The workshop will illustrate creation of the following types of learning modules:

1. Accounting Edutainment Games: "Accounting Hangman," "Jeopardy," and "Crossword Puzzle" games.
2. Multimedia assessment creation and scoring using WebCT's Gradebook.
3. Accounting problem demonstration using multimedia tools.
4. Integrating multimedia content with Adobe Acrobat.
5. Synchronous and asynchronous communications with students.
