Educational Intervention: Preparing Accounting Students to Identify Ethical Dilemmas

ABSTRACT. Identification of an ethical dilemma is the first stage in the decision-making process of Rest’s Model of Ethical Action and is the stage examined in this research. We hereby examine the effect of educational intervention on the ability to identify an ethical dilemma; provide a tool that may be used to measure the effectiveness of an educational intervention; and analyze the relationship between the educational intervention and level of moral reasoning.
