Description/Objectives:
In searching for interactive tools to draw non-accounting majors and MBA's into the analytical side of Management accounting the author finds the ability to use a simulation to link business decisions to management and accounting analysis to a "real business" environment an effective teaching tool. One example is the online Globalysm simulation which creates a global business environment and economic market. This seminar shares student and instructor experiences with this simulation and introduces the mechanics of running and grading a simulated class.
