The 2008 Annual Meeting Placement Center will be located in the Anaheim Marriott across the street from the Hilton Anaheim, the headquarters hotel. This will be the place to make connections with applicants seeking positions and institutions seeking faculty.

For those seeking positions and candidates, the Annual Meeting is an exciting and challenging process. To better support participants in the Placement Center this year, there will be a host of services available for positions seekers and recruiting institutions.

Services Available for 2008

  • Second Annual Meeting Career Fair!
    After the sold out success at last year's Annual Meeting we are pleased to offer this in 2008. This is an opportunity to network, share materials, and highlight or learn about institutions recruiting, or planning to recruit in the near future. Scheduled for Sunday, August 3rd to overlap the Early Bird Reception, this event will provide a broad opportunity for recruiting institutions to interact with potential candidates.   • Interview Tables
    Institutions will have the option to reserve an interview table in the Placement Center, where interviews may be conducted. Shortly after reserving your interview table you will receive an email with your table number allowing you to schedule interviews in advance. Space is limited – Reserve an interview table now.

  • AAA Complete Package
    We are pleased to offer the complete package including the Initial Position Announcement, Interview Table (4 days) and the Career Fair. Learn more on the AAA Complete Package.

This Year the Placement Center Offers

  • Access to the Placement Center will be limited to enrolled Placement Center participants who must submit a Position Announcement or Resume. Click on these links for instructions on submitting Positions and Resumes.
  • Online access to Annual Meeting Placement Position listings for Annual Meeting registrants prior to and following the meeting until November 1st, 2008.
  • Weekly updates of the Placements database prior to the Annual Meeting dates.
  • Onsite computer access to position announcements and resumes for enrolled participants who have submitted either a Position announcement or Resume.
  • Online access to Placement Center position announcements and resumes will be restricted to Annual Meeting registrants, who will receive login information via email.
  • Bulletin board space available for enrolled members of the Placement Center for the posting of messages or schedules.
