Description: The workshop will start with a discussion of how to design a good Excel problem for both managerial and financial accounting. I will then demonstrate how to create templates for students to download. I will then demonstrate how to create grading formulas that will automatically grade each assignment. This discussion will also provide information on how to program Excel to give various levels of feedback to students. Issues such as academic honesty will be discussed with possible solutions presented. Finally, I will demonstate how to easily extract the information from the assignments to facilitate grading.
