COURSE OBJECTIVE:

This seminar reviews the literary foundations and contemporary issues in computerized accounting information systems (AIS). It also focuses attention on the assessment of the effectiveness of computerized AIS. Practical implications of AIS design and implementation are investigated through the use of case analysis, a short 'discussant' paper, and a relational database project or a written research proposal.

This seminar is intended to develop your ability to integrate and synthesize the contemporary issues in AIS, as well as improve your analytical and writing skills.
