Greatest Potential Impact on Managerial Accounting Practice
Call for Nominations

Deadline: July 31, 2008

Award: An award in the amount of $2,000 will be presented annually at the MAS Midyear Meeting for the article that is judged to have the greatest potential impact on managerial accounting practice. The award is sponsored by the AICPA, CIMA, and CMA-Canada. The recipient will be selected by a committee made up of four individuals appointed by the Executive Committee of the Management Accounting Section.

Eligibility: The paper must have been published within the last five years. For this year’s award the paper must have been published no earlier than 2003. In addition, the candidate must be a member of the Management Accounting Section of the AAA at the time of the award.

Nomination procedures: The paper may be submitted by the author or by a peer. The nomination must include an electronic copy of the paper. Nominations should be forwarded to Ken Euske (kjeuske@nps.edu), Chair of the Award Selection Committee, by July 31, 2008.
