Submission Deadline March 30, 2018 (After peer-review, submitters will be notified by April 30, 2018)
The Fourth Annual Emerging Issues Forum is moving beyond its focus on Accounting IS Big Data to bring together industry leaders, accounting professionals, and academics to study Blockchain Technology. Submissions are being sought for Use Cases and Master Classes.
- Master class sessions (100 minutes) that facilitate hands-on blockchain activities, including projects, cases, and modules applying blockchain technology and concepts.
- Use Cases that showcase blockchain technology applications and HOW organizations are radically changing their business models, processes, products, services, and uses of data.
Proposal should include: A short description of the proposed session or use case and its learning outcome, including its learning outcomes. Indicate the level of the session (i.e., novice or advanced). List the type of device(s) and/or software participants should bring to your session. Although there will be wireless internet connectivity at the hotel, participants will be encouraged to download and install any materials, apps, or software ahead of time.
Submit your proposals by 11:59 pm EDT March 30, 2018 for the American Accounting Association's Blockchain Technology: An Emerging Issues Forum to be held September 13-14 at the San Francisco Marriott Airport. Your proposals will be peer reviewed and you will be notified by April 30, 2018 if you are selected to be one of the presenters. If selected, you are required to register and attend the complete conference.
