We encourage submissions of papers from all areas of management accounting research including all paradigms and theoretical foundations (such as e.g. economics, psychology, sociology) and all research methods (such as e.g. analytical, archival, case-based, experimental, survey). We also encourage submission of early working papers, particularly by junior faculty members from all countries.
We will also be hosting the eleventh annual Journal of Management Accounting Research (JMAR) Forum during this meeting, in which select JMAR submissions will be featured in a plenary session and will be published in the Fall 2020 issue of JMAR. If you would like your paper to be considered for the JMAR Forum, in addition to submitting your paper to the MAS Midyear Meeting, you should submit your paper by July 29, 2019 to JMAR following the regular submission procedures HERE. Please include in your cover letter an indication that you would like your paper to be considered for the JMAR Forum. The standard review procedures for JMAR will apply.
We will also be hosting the CGMA Teaching Symposium during the midyear meeting, on Saturday, January 11. The Teaching Symposium includes a series of education-focused sessions designed to complement the meeting’s research-focused concurrent sessions. All conference participants are registered for both the research and teaching sessions and are encouraged to attend any and all sessions that they find interesting. It will be possible to register for the Teaching Symposium only.
