Calls for Participation

The 15th University of Illinois Symposium on Auditing Research will be held on the Urbana-Champaign campus during October 17-19, 2002. The Symposium will be funded by the KPMG LLP Foundation. Authors of papers employing rigorous research methods (including exploratory methods when appropriate) are invited to submit papers. The scope of the symposium is broad, encompassing all aspects of auditing and assurance in all of their phases. Submission deadline is June 15, 2002. The 2002 International Business and Economics Research Conference will be held at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 7–11, 2002. Any business- or economics-related-research manuscript (including teaching-related papers and case studies) is welcome. Of special interest are topics with an international theme or any topic related to the Internet, electronic commerce, or the information age. Submission deadline is July 31, 2002.
