Letter from the Editor...The ABO Reporter

This issue of the ABO Reporter is about celebrating behavioral accounting research. Valuable information regarding the ABO section activities and plans for celebration at the upcoming meeting are discussed by President Kovar and our hard-working ABO liaison to the AAA meeting, Raquel Alexander. Once again, John Rigsby has coordinated the working paper series to keep you abreast of section members' work in process. And, don't forget to mark your calendars for the ABO Section meeting in Portland in October.

As Editor of the ABO Reporter, my role is to report activities and opportunities to ABO section members. Reporting upcoming opportunities for journal publications and conference participation is an integral part of the newsletter. In addition, however, I would like to see the newsletter expand into more creative territory. Along those lines, I welcome any ideas you may have for recurring items, like the wonderful working paper series coordinated by John Rigsby. Perhaps I can buy you a complimentary beverage at the 25th Anniversary party next month and you can provide me with creative reporting ideas.

The bottom line is…I encourage you (this means you) to submit any information that you think may be of interest to our diverse behavioral section members.
