Practice Advisory
Committee
Charge:
Provide broad
guidance to the Executive Committee with regard to the
Association's relations with practice. Specifically:
- Provide advice
and support for the Vice President/Practice and the
President-elect on the implementation of the strategic plan
in the goal area of "Contribute to Excellence in
Accounting Practice."
- Develop and
assist in implementing a practice (corporate) relations
program for the association.
- Oversee the AAA's
participation in a joint initiative tentatively titled "Strategic
Thinking in Accounting Education for the 21st Century."
- Recommend to the
Executive Committee other ways to strengthen ties between
education, and specifically the Associations and accounting
practice.
- Provide the
Executive Committee, through the designated liaison person,
reports on the committee's activities for each Executive
Committee meeting (dates to be determined).
