Charge:

1. Plan and hold the 2001 Doctoral Consortium in accordance with established AAA policies. Specifically:

a. Review previous committees' reports and other important background material.

b. Plan for and arrange to have the 2001 consortium conducted and administered, and consider whether the arrangements for the consortium should be altered in the interests of improving the value of the consortium for attendees.

c. Report on the results and effectiveness of the consortium and recommend any changes to the Executive Committee in time for inclusion in the agenda book for the August 2001 Executive Committee.

2. Evaluate the structure, content and operation of the Doctoral Consortium. If appropriate, provide recommendations for improvement in time for consideration at the August 2001 Executive Committee meeting.
