Charge:

1. Plan and hold the 2002 Doctoral Consortium in accordance with established AAA policies. Specifically:
   a. Review previous committees’ reports and other important background material.
   b. Plan for and arrange to have the 2002 consortium conducted and administered, and consider whether the arrangements for the consortium should be altered.
   c. Report on the results and effectiveness of the consortium and recommend any changes to the Executive Committee in time for inclusion in the agenda book for the August 2002 Executive Committee.
2. Evaluate the structure, content and operation of the Doctoral Consortium. If appropriate, provide recommendations for improvement in time for consideration at the August 2002 Executive Committee meeting.
