Charge:

Coordinate all activities with regard to the Innovations in Accounting Education Award. Specifically:

1. Select the recipient(s) of the Innovation in Accounting Education Award, using the criteria approved by the Executive Committee.
2. Summarize, describe and include on the Internet, projects or innovations nominated for the award.
3. Consider the criteria for the award and recommend changes, as appropriate.
4. Work with the Assessment committee to determine whether a separate Innovation in Assessment Award is needed to encourage innovation in assessment.
5. Provide a progress report to the Executive Committee liaison in time to be included in the agenda book for each Executive Committee meeting.
