2004–2005 AAA COMMITTEES
WEBSITE ADMINISTRATORS COMMITTEE
Charge:
Facilitate activities related to the AAA's ongoing use of the Internet as a
vehicle for information dissemination and resource acquisition. Specifically:
- Monitor the Association's website, and provide recommendations as
appropriate.
- Facilitate Webmaster transition for all section and region homepages and,
if necessary, provide assistance and advice to new webmasters.
- Actively develop section and regional WebPages in coordination with the
Executive Committee of the AAA and the AAA Webmaster.
- Facilitate the recruitment of new webmasters for all sections and regions.
- Coordinate section, region and association websites, to the extent
appropriate.
- Disseminate information to, in coordination with the AAA Webmaster, AAA
members regarding recent technology changes and availability that may enhance
AAA member research, teaching, and development.
- Provide the Executive Committee, through the designated liaison person,
reports on the committee's activities for each Executive Committee meeting
(dates to be determined).
- Provide advice and counsel to the Executive Committee, the AAA Webmaster,
and the AAA's Sarasota Office regarding the adoption of or need for new
technologies to better facilitate the AAA's overall objectives.
