TASK FORCE COMMITTEE

Charge:

To consider and develop a statement regarding a common platform for accounting education as directed by the VP of Education which addresses fundamental competencies appropriate for the various certificates and credentials which represent professional accounting practice so as to inform US and other regulatory and accreditation agencies and the academic community and possible model program and curriculum initiatives. A concurrent session at the 2008 Annual Meeting of the Association may be considered as an appropriate means for communicating the outcome and report of the Task Force's activities.
