JOINT AAA/APLG DOCTORIAL ADVOCACY TASK FORCE
Charge:
The Joint AAA/APLG Doctoral Advocacy Task Force is a cooperative effort of the American Accounting Association and the Accounting Programs Leadership Group of the AAA. The group will seek to increase the amount of information bearing upon the faculty and doctoral programs of the accountancy academic community and to
Membership:
New Task Force members are appointed annually by the President.
Meeting:
This committee meets as needed.
Responsibility:
- Create and develop advocacy information concerning Doctoral programs.
- Disseminate the information to advocate about doctoral programs to academic constituents and other interested parties including both undergraduate and doctoral students, doctoral program directors, department chairs, and deans and provosts on a timely and regular basis.
- The Chair prepares and sends a progress report twice every term-year, with deadlines of October 29th 2008 and March 4th 2009, to the Executive Committee Liaison, AAA President, and Executive Director regarding accomplishments or modifications.
