2008–2009 AAA TASK FORCES
AND TEAMS


CORE STRATEGY TEAM

Charge:

The Core Strategy Team is responsible for creating and proposing Association strategic plans to the Executive Committee. The Team will meet several times per year to:

  1. Review the progress of current strategic initiatives.
  2. Consider global economic and accounting patterns that affect the strategic plan.
  3. Maintain a strategic renewal every 3 to 5 years.
  4. Plan Executive Committee agendas for the fall and spring meetings, the strategic planning meeting, and the EC meeting at the Annual Meeting

Membership:

There are six members on the Team including the Executive Director (chair), all individuals in presidential positions ( President-Elect nominee, the President-Elect, the President and the Past President), and the Chair of the Strategy Management Team.

Meetings:

This committee meets as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill the committee charter above.
  • The Chair prepares and sends a progress report twice every term-year, with deadlines of October 29th 2008 and March 4th 2009, to the Executive Committee Liaison, AAA President, and Executive Director regarding accomplishments or modifications.
