Workshops

The SET section sponsors at least one workshop a year. This is a key annual event for the section as it brings together much of the active research and many of the active researchers in the section - a must attend event for anyone interested in emerging technologies in accounting.

For the last few years the annual workshop is held the day before the formal commencement of the National Meeting. It also shares the location of the annual meeting. Reservation to attend each workshop is usually made via the booking system to attend the annual meeting (follow this link for further details).

The workshop is co-ordinated each year by the Section's Workshop Committee - see full details on the remit and membership of this Committee here.

Forthcoming Workshops

The Seventeenth Annual Research Workshop on AI/ET in Accounting, Auditing and Tax will be held Saturday 2nd August 2008 in Anaheim/Orange County (immediately before the AAA Annual Meeting as usual)

  • Deadlines -
    • 1 May 2008: Email extended abstract with paper title, name of authors and description of approximately 300 words or full paper to aietworkshop@yahoogroups.com.
    • 15 May 2008: Decisions emailed.
    • 1 July 2008: Full papers due.
