This book has an excellent overview of the assessment process. The authors discuss their six assessment essentials: learning goals and objectives, planning for assessment, involving faculty, staff, and students in assessment, selecting and designing methods, reporting and using results, and assessing the assessment program.

This publication was commissioned by the AECC to provide information to accounting educators on assessment. It provides practical guidance on the development of an assessment program.

This book is a classic and provides useful examples of assessment techniques.
