Solicit nominations of published research by ATA members by placing the announcement in the Fall ATA Newsletter and on the ATA web page.

Select the winner(s).  Notify the ATA president before the luncheon as well as the Dean and Department Chair at the recipients' institution(s) after the luncheon.

Arrange for the plaque(s) and presentation at the ATA luncheon at the annual AAA meeting.

Consider how the efforts of this committee and the award it presents can increase the public persona of the ATA.
