| 2002 Auditing Doctoral
Consortium Program
Thursday, January 17, 2002
Orlando, Florida
The Auditing Section of
the American Accounting Association and KPMG are sponsoring the third annual
Auditing Doctoral Consortium to be held in conjunction with the
Auditing Sections Midyear Conference, January
1719, 2002, Orlando, Florida. The purpose of the Consortium is to
stimulate students research by exposing them to the very latest ideas
from leading researchers in auditing, and by providing opportunities for
networking with other Ph.D. students interested in auditing, established
auditing researchers, and editors of journals in which they will seek to
publish. I ask you to help in publicizing the Consortium to your Ph.D. students
and in supporting and encouraging their attendance. Students may be at any
stage in their program, and there is no limit as to how many students may
attend from each university. However, there is a limit on the total number of
students who can attend the Consortium, and applicants will be accepted on a
first-come basis.
