2008 Auditing Section Outstanding Dissertation Award

Elizabeth Carson received the 2008 Auditing Section Outstanding Dissertation Award for her dissertation entitled, "Global Audit Firm Networks, Global Industry Specialization and the Market for Audit Services." Roger Simnett was also recognized for his service as Elizabeth's dissertation chair.

Bill Messier (University of Nevada, Las Vegas), Billy Soo (Boston College), Scott Vandervelde (University of South Carolina, and Mark Zimbelman (Brigham Young University) served on the selection committee for this award.
