The 3rd Annual Midyear Auditing Section Conference will be held in Jacksonville, Florida on January 23-25, 1997. In addition to the CPE session described opposite, the meeting will feature keynote, plenary and concurrent sessions dealing with a wide variety of contemporary topics related to audit and attestation practice, education and research. KPMG Peat Marwick LLP will present a CPE session on Control Self-Assessment (CSA), in conjunction with the Auditing Sectionís upcoming midyear meeting in Jacksonville, Florida. The session will address issues such as determining the readiness of an organizationís culture for CSA, important first steps for implementing CSA, conducting effective workshops, and options for reporting.
