CALL FOR PAPERS

Research on Accounting Ethics Symposium
June 1997
Bryant College

The Second Research on Accounting Ethics Symposium will take place on the Bryant College campus (Smithfield, RI) in June 1997. The symposium uses a format designed to allow adequate time for extensive audience discussion of each paper. A forum session will include papers at an earlier stage of development (including advanced stage working papers) for small group discussion. All papers accepted for the main program will be published in a special issue of Research on Accounting Ethics. The symposium will continue the tradition of supporting all areas of ethics research as it broadly applies to the accounting, taxation, information systems and/or auditing domains. The registration fee will not exceed $200 per person and will cover all costs of the symposium: registration, meals and up to two nights accommodation with single occupancy.

Four copies of all submissions should be forwarded to one of the co-chairs by December 2, 1996. Authors should follow the style guidelines for Research on Accounting Ethics. Submissions should include a cover letter that clearly states whether the authors wish to have their paper considered for the main program, forum or both.

Submission deadline: December 2, 1996
Notification of acceptance: March 15, 1997
Registration deadline: May 1, 1997
Revised paper deadline: May 15, 1997

For additional information, please contact one of the symposium co-chairs.
