SPECIAL OFFER BY AICPA

AUDITING SECTION MONOGRAPH
EDUCATIONAL DISCOUNT

Last year the Auditing Section and the AICPA jointly published the monograph entitled "Auditing Practice, Research and Education: A Productive Collaboration." The monograph is a rich anthology of significant developments in auditing over the past century and the role of research in helping to shape these developments. It is an excellent educational vehicle for auditing classes (both undergraduate and graduate) to expose students to important historical trends and events (e.g., how did we get to the current "risk-adjusted" approach?) as well as providing an appreciation for the important role of research.

To provide an incentive for greater classroom use of the monograph, the AICPA is now offering a 60 percent educational discount over the regular price for students and faculty. This will mean the monograph will be available for only about $10. The AICPA is also exploring the option of providing a tailored course packet through McGraw-Hill Primus for selected parts of the monograph.

Your bookstore (or you) may order copies of the monograph by calling 1(800) 862-4272 (product number 010290GI) or writing to:
