Call for Participants in Research Program Related to PCAOB Standards-Setting Projects

Auditing Section leaders plan to assemble teams of researchers to develop syntheses of existing research related to key PCAOB standards-setting projects. Section members and others who are interested in working on one of these research teams should indicate their interest no later than September 15, 2005.

Auditing Section leaders plan to assemble research teams for each of the following PCAOB standards-setting projects:

• Audit Confirmations
• Audit Firm Quality Control
• Audit Reporting Model
• Auditing Related Party Transactions
• Communications with Audit Committees
• Engagement Quality Review (aka concurring or second partner review)
• Financial Fraud
