Accounting Horizons and Issues in Accounting Education
2008 Best Paper Awards

PURPOSE:
The Accounting Horizons and Issues in Accounting Education Best Paper Awards are presented annually. The awards are given for the best paper published each calendar year for either publication.

ELIGIBILITY:
All papers appearing in Accounting Horizons and Issues in Accounting Education in 2007, except for editorials written by the editor and committee reports, are eligible.

SELECTION PROCESS:
The award winner is selected by online voting open to all Accounting Horizons and Issues in Accounting Education subscribing members of the American Accounting Association. Online voting is scheduled for Spring 2008. Online voting will be announced via mass emails, AEN, and the AAA website.

PRESENTATION OF AWARD:
The winner will be announced in the Accounting Education News. The award, a plaque and $2,500 funded by McGraw Hill, will be presented at the 2008 AAA Annual Meeting.
