Call for Papers
Conference Theme: Getting Published
Speakers include:
- Professor Sue Ravenscroft – Editor, Issues in Accounting Education
- Professor Jim Rebele – Editor, Journal of Accounting Education
- Professor RMS Wilson – Editor, Accounting Education: An International Journal
- Professor Clive Emmanuel – Editor, British Accounting Review
- Leigh Holland – Editor, Journal of Applied Accounting Research
This conference is designed to provide a forum for emerging, as well as established, researchers. We particularly wish to encourage a wide variety of papers on ANY aspect of accounting education as follows:
- Emerging papers will describe either the initial stages of a project
or the initial analysis of findings.
- Full papers will describe completed projects. Discussant’s comments
will be provided on full papers.
Opportunities will be provided at the conference for both of these types of paper to be discussed, refined and developed at informal workshops with the support of other researchers and specialists in the field.
The deadline for submissions is 28 February 2005. Submissions should indicate whether they are to be considered as either emerging papers or as full papers and should be in the form of an abstract not exceeding 500 words. All submissions should be sent by email with the Subject Line:

The conference fee will be £360* including all meals and two nights accommodation. In keeping with previous years, the conference will start at lunchtime on the 25th and finish with lunch on the 27th. Further details will be announced in due course.
