Midyear Meeting

The Government and Nonprofit section of the American Accounting Association is planning to hold the 2009 midyear meeting in Washington, DC on Friday and Saturday, March 27 and 28, 2009.

Submissions

The section invites submissions relating to all areas of Government and Nonprofit accounting to be considered for presentation at the midyear meeting.  Papers authored (or co-authored) by assistant professors or doctoral students are especially encouraged. Please indicate with an asterisk (*) next to the title if the paper meets this criteria.  Research-in-process submissions should be sufficiently developed to allow informed feedback.

  • All submissions should be emailed to Angela Gore at agore@gwu.edu.  Notification of accepted manuscripts is anticipated by February 1, 2009. 
  • Submitted manuscripts should be in either MS Word or Adobe Acrobat files attached to an email.  To facilitate the blind review process used to evaluate manuscripts, please submit the title page in a separate file from the manuscript file and delete any identifying information from the manuscript file.

The deadline for submission is Friday, December 12, 2008.
