Call for Submissions

The Nineteenth Annual Midyear Auditing Section Conference will be held January 17–19, 2013, at the New Orleans Marriott in New Orleans. The conference will consist of keynote, plenary, and concurrent sessions dealing with a wide variety of contemporary topics related to audit, attestation and assurance practices, education, and research.

You are encouraged to contribute to the program through submissions of auditing/attestation/assurance research and education papers (including instructional cases). In addition, the section will rely on your help in planning and conducting the conference by providing suggestions for session topics, panels, and/or workshops.

An award will be given for the best PhD student paper submitted to the conference. Authors must indicate that they would like to be considered for the Best PhD Paper Award at the time of submission. The paper can be co-authored with a faculty member; however, if selected for the award it will be expected that the PhD student will present the paper.

The Section will also recognize the best paper submitted for the conference. All papers submitted to the conference will be considered for this award.
