CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS 2010 Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting April 22-24, 2010 Philadelphia, PA Host School: Fox School of Business, Temple UniversityDeadline for paper submissions: JANUARY 6, 2010

Accounting educators, students and professionals are invited to submit completed manuscripts and ideas for panels or workshops for the 2010 AAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Meeting. Papers may encompass any topical area of accounting and may be theoretical or practice-oriented. Awards will also be given for the best manuscript, as well as the best manuscript by a doctoral student. Papers may also have been submitted to the American Accounting Association National meeting, but should not have been published before the Mid-Atlantic meeting. 

The conference will begin on Thursday April 22 with a daylong seminar for doctoral students and junior faculty featuring Rajiv Banker, Sudipta Basu, Elizabeth Gordon, Jagan Krishnan, Jayanthi Krishnan, and Terry Shevlin, as well as CPE sessions for faculty and professionals.  It will continue with presentations, panels, and workshops on Friday, April 23 and Saturday April 24. 

The meeting will be held at the Marriott Courtyard in Downtown Philadelphia. The hotel is located across the street from the City Hall at 21 North Juniper Street, Philadelphia PA 19107. A limited number of hotel rooms have been set aside for conference participants at the rate of $149 per night single or double occupancy.
