Pre-registration is closed
On-site registration for Recruiters and Observers ONLY will be available at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay on Friday, December 8, at 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM, Saturday, December 9 at 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, and Sunday, December 10 at 7:00 AM, Grand Ballroom Foyer, 3rd Level
.        
 

The registration fee includes name badge (required for admittance to meeting events), meeting program, Friday Evening Welcome Reception, Saturday and Sunday Continental Breakfast, Saturday and Sunday Lunch, Saturday Evening Reception.

 
Candidate
 
A candidate is a current PhD Student with an expected graduation date of Spring 2018 who is ready to enter the job market upon graduation.
Must register by October 25, 2017

Recruiter
 
Each representative from a school or firm must register for the event. Must register by November 15, 2017

An observer is a current PhD Student who is NOT expected to graduate in the Spring 2018 semester. Observers may watch the student presentation portion, however they may not participate in the interview process or do presentations of their own

Preregister - Mail/Fax
Registrations paid by check should be made payable to the American Accounting Association. Mail
registration form and payment to: American Accounting Association, 9009 Town Center Pkwy, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202. Registrations paid by credit card can be faxed to 941-923-4093 or call 941-921-7747 to pay over the phone.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be received in writing at the AAA in order to be processed (email
marybeth.gripshover@aaahq.org).

Candidates- If unable to attend you must notify the AAA immediately.
Recruiters- Cancellations received after November 8, 2017 will incur a $175 cancellation fee. No refunds will be available for cancellations after November 15, 2017, or for no-shows.
Observer- If unable to attend notify the AAA immediately.

INTERVIEW TABLES (SOLD OUT)
Each table will have a curtained drape on three sides to give you more privacy for your interviews. Institutions will have the ability to maximize their recruiting time by signing up for an interview table. The tables will be available:

Saturday, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
 
Sunday, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Due to damages caused by Hurricane Irma the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay can no longer accept any additional hotel room reservations. A new hotel room block has been created at the DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Biscayne Bay at our group rate of $229 per night.

We apologize for any inconvenience and note that everyone who has already booked their hotel room at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay will not be affected.

A limited number of rooms have been reserved at the conference rate. PLEASE make your reservations as early as possible to take advantage of this special room rate. Note we cannot guarantee that any additional rooms will be available in the hotel once our block of rooms is sold out, even if the block is sold out before the cut off date.

Meeting Attendees with Limited Mobility
If you anticipate having limited mobility during your participation in the meeting, it is very important that you notify the hotel when you make your reservations, and when you check into the hotel. Should there be an emergency that would require evacuation, hotel staff need to know that you would require assistance. This includes temporary mobility issues such as injury, crutches, etc. Please request instructions directly from the hotel about how to proceed in case of an emergency.
