Welcome to the 2017 Career Center at the Annual Meeting employer registration! The Career Center at the Annual Meeting offers multiple options for recruiting institutions. Below are step by step instructions on how you and your organization can participate in this one of a kind opportunity!

Career Center online registration closes Wednesday, July 26th. Reservations may be made onsite, pending availability


Employer Registration

1.) In order to attend the Career Center at the Annual Meeting you must be a member of the AAA and register for the Annual Meeting.

2.) 
Post a job listing.

• New to Career Center? Create an account here. Your online job posting includes a print ad in The Accounting Review and unlimited resume access.

• If your Institution currently has a job posting in the Career Center online, which you would liked to be advertised at the Career Center at the Annual Meeting, you can renew it for an additional 120 days for only $399. Click here to renew your job posting.

• Once you have posted your position, please click on the link "2017 Career Center at the Annual Meeting, Register here". Then select Career Center package, "Employer Registration + Icon". You will select your Interview Hall packages and pay in step 3.

• You will then proceed to select Career Center at the Annual Meeting Add-on, your job listing will be displayed with the Career Center at the Annual Meeting "AAA" icon to announce your interest to job seekers of recruiting and scheduling interviews at the Career Center.

• After you have added your icon to your job listing, you can search and contact job seekers in the resume bank.

• When you find candidates you are interested in, you can communicate with them, and even set up interviews before the Annual Meeting to fully vet the candidates.

3.) To purchase an Interview Hall package please click on the green Register Here Button. To purchase your Interview Hall packages, please have your AAA login and password ready. If you are an administrator and you do not have your own AAA login, please use the login of an already existing AAA member. Each table will have a curtained drape on three sides to give you some privacy for your interviews.  Tables will be reserved on a first come first serve basis, so be sure to reserve your table today!

• In order to register for the Career Center Interview Hall packages, you MUST have an active job listing. Please refer to step two to post your job listing.

• To purchase your Interview Hall packages, please have your AAA login and password ready. If you are an administrator and you do not have your own AAA login, please use the login of an already existing AAA member.

• When you are selecting your package(s), please disregard the meal options in the registration form, we will not be offering any meals during the Interview Hall hours. Please proceed forward.

• When you are on the "Select Price and Function" page, please click on "Interview Hall Reservation" and a list of packages will appear below.

• Please note if you are purchasing an Interview Hall package your attendance to the Career Fair is FREE. Please click on "Career Fair, with Purchase of Interview Hall Package" and proceed to select your Interview Hall package.

• If you are only attending the Career Fair, and not making Interview Hall reservations, please click on "Career Fair Only".

• You will receive an email in mid-July confirming your purchase and will also be given your booth assignment at this time

4.) Schedule your interviews!

• The process of scheduling interviews with your candidates is entirely up to you. We recommend using your Outlook planner to send out invites, or via email. We are not responsible for knowing your interview hall schedule on-site, and at what times you’re meeting with candidates.

• On-site, your candidates will be given instructions to sit in a particular section in the Interview Hall waiting area, so that it is easier for you to identify your candidate when you are ready to proceed to the Interview Hall.

• Candidates cannot go inside the Interview Hall unless they are escorted by the recruiter, or University staff member. It is up to the interviewer to find their candidates outside in the Interview Hall waiting area.

• Please note the process by which you can invite job seekers to interview with you is designed to preserve job seeker anonymity until they commit to communicating with you.

Reservations On-Site
Please note that we will do our best to accommodate you if we have a booth available, but we cannot guarantee it will be the time slot you are requesting. We strongly encourage you to reserve your interview booth well in advance of the meeting, however, if in the unlikely event you will need a table on-site, we do offer the following options that will be charged in addition to the Interview Hall Package cost of $125 .

On-site fee for reservation for booth with drapes: $100
On-site fee for reservation for table in the back (no drapes); $75

Cancellation Policy
All registrations cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by July 13, 2017 to
erica.Zakarias@aaahq.org. A refund of the Career Center packages, minus a $25 administrative fee will be given for cancellations received by July 13, 2017. After July 13, 2017, no refunds will be given.


Job Seeker Registration

Welcome to the 2017 Career Center at the Annual Meeting Job Seeker registration! Below are step by step instructions on how you can participate in this one of a kind opportunity!
1.) In order to attend the Career Center at the Annual Meeting you must be a member of the AAA and register for the Annual Meeting.

2.)

New to Career Center? Create an account click here.

• Once you have posted your position, please click on the link "2017 Career Center at the Annual Meeting, Register here". Then select Career Center package, "Job Seeker Registration + Icon".

• You will have the option to post an anonymous or public resume in the Career Center resume bank. Your resume listing will be posted with the 2017 Annual Meeting "AAA" icon next to it, to indicate to employers that you will be attending the Career Center at the Annual Meeting and that you are interested in scheduling interviews.

• Employers registered for the Career Center at the Annual Meeting will have the same "AAA" icon next to their job postings. You are free to search through all of the job postings and contact any employer inquiring about job openings, but you'll only be able to schedule interviews in the Interview Hall with employers registered for the Career Center at the Annual Meeting.

• Choosing the institutions you would like to interview with and the times during their open schedules in which you would like to meet them IS ENTIRELY UP TO YOU. If you have posted an anonymous resume, and an employer reaches out to you, you have the option of responding back or not.

• Please consider your choice of the question below carefully. If you choose check the box that says "Reveal your contact information to all registered employers" then all registered Career Center at the Annual Meeting employers will be able to see your contact information by accessing your posted resume. However, your resume will still be anonymous to employers who have not registered for the Career Center at the Annual Meeting.  If you leave the box unchecked then your resume is completely anonymous to all employers.
