Grants and Funding Sources

KPMG's and the University of Illinois' s Business Measurement and Research Program
KPMG LLP, the KPMG Foundation, and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) are pleased to invite research proposals to the Business Measurement Research Program (Program). The Program supports scholarly research on concepts, models, and practices in business measurement and assurance. KPMG LLP and the KPMG Foundation have pledged financial support for the Program's initial three-year term. The amount of the typical research grant awarded under the Program is expected to range from $50,000 to $100,000 (USD).

The Foundation Center
Offers an online version of "User-Friendly Guide to Funding Research and Resource," a short course in proposal writing, list of top 100 funders, and common grant application forms.

The Fulbright Scholar Program
Opportunities for lecturing or advanced research are available in nearly 130 countries through the Fulbright program. Awards range from two months to a full academic year and many assignments are flexible to the needs of the grantee. For further information and application materials contact the USIA Fulbright Scholar Program through the Council for International Exchange of Scholars.

Competition guidelines, application materials, descriptions of funded projects, evaluation information, and funding advice.

MIDAS Databases of Funding Sources
Online service created by University of New Mexico which allows customized searches of a wide variety of funding databases using standard strategies, advanced searches of self-selected databases, and public domain searches. (Requires sign up and login.)

National Council of University Research Administrators
Provides links to university sponsored research office web pages, agency forms, pre-award and post-award resources.
