Become a Professor in Accounting Information Systems and influence the future of the accounting profession while changing the course of your life.

It’s no secret that there is a growing shortage of academically qualified university accounting faculty members, especially those with recent real-world experience in accounting information systems (AIS). In response, the Information Systems Section of the American Accounting Association has decided to hold Information Conferences and broadly publicize opportunities in AIS careers and doctoral programs.

It’s a life-changing step, both for those who choose to become professors and for the lives they’ll influence in the future. And the results will have far-reaching positive impact on the accounting information systems profession.
