Doctoral Colloquium Information

Generously supported by the Institute of Management Accountants

The Management Accounting Section Doctoral Colloquium is open to all doctoral students whose research interest is management accounting. Participants in prior colloquiums are eligible and encouraged to participate again. We also encourage doctoral students at any stage in their degree to apply, and will likely have room for everyone who wants to attend. However, space is limited and, if necessary, priority will be given to more senior students (through the 5th year) and those students who have not previously attended.

There is no cost for attending the colloquium, and students attending the colloquium are automatically registered for the conference. In addition, Wednesday night's stay at the conference hotel will be reimbursed by the AAA for colloquium attendees (Wednesday and Thursday if participants arrange to share a room with another participant). To APPLY for the colloquium, visit the following website:

Note that you must be a member of AAA and the Management Accounting Section in order to apply. Application deadline is October 30, 2007. Notification of acceptance decision will be emailed on November 5, 2007.

If you have any questions, please email one of the colloquium directors.
