Group/Convention Code: AATThe Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City is situated at the very entrance to Universal Studios Hollywood and Citywalk high on a hill overlooking the Los Angeles entertainment district. Every room features a view of the Hollywood Hills – San Fernando Valley and Universal Studios Hollywood. Along with resort amenities, such as a heated pool, whirlpool, and weight/fitness room, the hotel offers complete business center services.
Block Rate: A limited number of rooms have been reserved for International Accounting Section Midyear Conference attendees at a special conference rate of $149 per night, single or double. It is strongly recommended that attendees make hotel reservations early to take advantage of the special room rate due to limited availability (the block rate expires December 12).
The hotel requires that all reservations be guaranteed by either major credit card or first-night cash deposit. Individual guest room deposits will be refunded if reservations are cancelled seventy-two (72) hours prior to the day of arrival. Non-cancelled room reservations will not be refunded.
Transportation
From the Los Angeles International Airport (20 miles from Hotel):
Driving: Take the 405 Freeway north towards Los Angeles; stay in far right lane until freeway splits then take 101 Freeway South to the Lankershim Blvd. exit. Turn right, then right again at the signal (Lankershim) and the Hotel entrance sign is ahead on right. The Hotel is up the road on top of the hill.
Taxi: Taxi fares from Los Angeles International are approximately $50.
Shuttle Bus (www.supershuttle.com): "Super Shuttle" buses are available for $16 per person. No reservations required.
From the Burbank Airport (Six miles from Hotel)
Driving: Take Hollywood Way south to Riverside Drive then turn right and continue to traffic signal at Cahuenga Blvd., then turn left and continue until the road merges with Lankershim Blvd. then turn left and stay in he left lane until Universal Studios/Hotels sign, then turn left and the Hilton is second on the right.
Taxi: Taxi fares from Burbank Airport are approximately $16.
