  • The Roles of Various Aspects of Risk in Financial Statement Auditing & the Audit of ICFR
  • Materiality and Tolerable Misstatement
  • An Introduction to the Integrated Audit

Day 2- June 16, 2009

8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Auditing - Intermediate)  4.0 CH

Controls Part One –Review of Understanding Control Environment, Understanding Accounting and Reporting Activities, Identifying Risks, Designing Audit Approach and Discussion of Instructional Approaches.

1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Auditing -  Intermediate)  4.0 CH

Controls Part Two—Review of Evaluating Controls, Controls Testing, Risk Assessment, Integrated Audit, and Discussion of Instructional Approaches.

Day 3 – June 17

8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Auditing -  Intermediate)  4.0 CH

Substantive Testing Part One—Review of Relation Between Tests of Controls and Substantive Tests, Types of Substantive Tests, Performing Analytical Tests, Performing Tests of Transactions and Discussion of Instructional Approaches.

1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Auditing - Intermediate) 3.0 CH

Substantive Testing Part Two—Review of Performing Tests of Balances, Assessing Risk, Completing Audit, Integrated Audit, Audit Reports and Discussion of Instructional Approaches.


Note: The CPE Fields of Study curriculum is divided into twenty three subject matter areas. These fields represent the primary knowledge and skill areas needed by accounting licensees to perform professional services in all fields of employment.  Sessions that offer CPE credit have the Field of Study and Credit Hours (CH) in red.  Each Credit Hour is based on 50 minutes.  The Program Level for each of these sessions is Basic, unless otherwise stated.  Delivery Method: Group Live
